Teps Erasmus+ trip to Spain from  27th – 31th March 2017.

Anton, Willy en Els meet and  greet with the colleagues from Turkey, Czech Republic, Estonia and Spain. This week we are visiting CEIP Divino Maestro in Los Molinos.

On Monday 27th of March we arrived in Madrid. On Tuesday we went to the school Divino Maestro. After the welcome of the principal José Antonio González Illera and the introducing of each person, we visit a classroom. 10 groups of children were  sitting with the technical boxes and they explain ed and worked with the boxes. The children were friendly and spontaneous and were very good at working together.We also visits classrooms.IMG_5931

Then we had a delicious lunch at the school.In Los Molinos we walked to the townhall, where we were received  by the mayor. IMG_6352                              IMG_6276

We were invited into the boardroom and  we got a book handed over the place Los Molinos.

On Wednesday we visit the school  “Principe Felipe” San Sebastian de los Reyes.

Here we also saw the children working with the technical boxes.

After that we visit MUNCYT (National Museum of Science and technology in Alcobendas. This museum promotes knowledge, culture and science education through scientific and technological historical collections.. We saw for instance: a journey through the history of the microscope, Spanish Innovation, space and time.Early in the evening we spent a nice time in Madrid. We walked along The Royal Palace, The Cathedral de la Almudena, Plaza Mayor, Sol.

On Thursday we visit the school “Padre Soler”San Lorenzo del Escorial.  A school with Music! The children worked with the technical boxes. What a kindness, musicality, a discipline and what a cooperation! After visiting the school, we went to the Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial.

The Escorial is the huge monastery complex of Filip II  of Spain. A castle, a monastery and a royal mausoleum become one.

In the evening we had an  evaluation over the past week. It was a fantastic, friendly, well organized week. We thank José Antonio and his team for the attention, for the nice welcome, for their time,  for organizing everything, the activities in and out of the school.

Friday, our last day of the TEPS-project.  We had a short visit  at the school “El Peralejo in Alpedrete.

school with  Art and Science. It was nice to see  the students working with the boxes. In the afternoon we went by train to Segovia. When you entered Segovia you see a spectacular Roman  aqueduct. A beautiful place  with a wonderful  cathedral.

Time to go home. Thanks for everything. Spain colleagues thank you for your warm welcome.  We are looking forward to our next meeting.
