FOR STAFFS OF PARTNER- AND SATELLITE SCHOOLS.           8-4-2019

Here is some news about our friendly child and teacher’s project especially about the visits to Aegina, Opheusden and Počernice.

Meeting on Aegina.

Dear friends and colleagues,

acropolisWe had a wonderful and very warm welcome in Greek style at the school in Kypsely with typical folklore dance by the youngest pupils. Stavroula and her staff made many preparations. The oldest pupils presented a story on stage about the 12 Gods of Mount Olympus who got a pistachio tree from Aegina. We had  good meetings about the project and talked about the final evaluations in May. The colleague’s from Ireland will gather all the answers given by the partner schools and present a concept in May. Teachers from Los Molinos, Pocernice, Netherlands and Greece showed their new boxes about programming and electricity. There even is a box which shows you how to a   vacuum cleaner works. Everything will be on the website soon. Madeline already made the minutes, everyone had a copy of them.

The survey was discussed and we made the appointment that al the results will be made in the same format of the first survey. Every partner will send it to the coordinator of the project next week. In may we will look at the final results.

We went to two satellite schools and made perfect excursions to Agistry, Palaja Xora, a pottery lab and the wonderful temple of Effeia.

We made appointments about the competition in Prague. For some pupils the bottle was too difficult, but we said earlier that you also can use a milk parcel or board. Every school uses the original set of engine and wheels.

Thanks for the fine time on Aegina.

Evaluations will be on the website next week…..
