Dear friends and colleagues,

I think that everyone is safe at home now.

The meeting in Prague was a real success:

During the first meeting, we repeated our agreements that we made in Kypsely: everyone sends the corrected result of the survey to the coordinator ( and the suggestions for the final evaluation to Madeline (

They will work it out for the meeting at May at the Dutch school.

We were heartily welcomed by Eva and Hana. Four friendly pupils showed us their school, speaking correct English.

1Beside the fine meals and the pleasant stay, everybody could check the Skype contact and prepare the cars at the first day. We had a fine English lesson from Dana and her pupils, who told us the story of Gollem. Later we could meet him in a virtual Old Prague…..

You will read more about this meeting in the evaluation everybody will upload it on our website this week………

The “competition”:

It was amazing how much work has been done! The Spanish school that could not come, took part by Skype and did send a video of their competition in Los Mollinos. Great thanks for that participation.

Every participating school got this diploma.

Contact with the partner schools: pupils saw the competition live in Prague.

It was a real pity that we did not have contact with our Irish friends. Eva Hola tried to contact them several times.

The last evaluation at the Dutch school in Het Palet in Opheusden during the meeting in May.

From the 22nd of May till the 26th of May there will be our final meeting in The Netherlands.

During the meeting at Thursday at school, you will be welcomed at 10.00 hrs. by the pupils and staff. As far we know now we can see at least the last boxes made by Martine from Počernice (perhaps you can try it yourself) and a “vacuum cleaner” box made by Frencis from Opheusden. Perhaps some pupils will show you how they work with boxes. We will evaluate using the document prepared/made by our Irish colleagues and the outcome of the last survey.

Perhaps Mrs. S. van Schilfgaarde from the Dutch National agency will join us during the morning evaluation and the lunch.

The lunch will be prepared by the school.

After lunch, we will finish our evaluation. We hope to present the final “TEPS Photobook” made by Sandra from the Dutch school, with help from her colleagues.

You will receive soon the program of these days when the staff has made the final details.

Sure is that when the weather is fine there will be “the last big garden party” at Boutesteijn on Saturday afternoon from 15.00 hrs. All guests and staff members from the Dutch school and their family are invited.

The reservation is done at the hotel De Schildkamp in Asperen. Guests will receive an invitation separately in a few days.

Please send the names of guests of your school, with flight information, email address + mobile number. Let us know what rooms you want this week + arrival and departure day. We have the reservation for you until the 1st of May.

As usual, keep in touch, Anton Verwey.
